    Description

    We're looking for a friendly, reliable Retail Assistant to support food preparation and service for patients, staff, and visitors. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and take pride in cleanliness and quality, this is the role for you!

    Key Responsibilities

    • Greet customers warmly and respond to their needs efficiently
    • Prepare and serve food items according to menu selections and quality standards
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including equipment and floors
    • Follow safe food handling and infection control procedures
    • Practice portion control and minimize waste to support financial performance
    • Comply with health regulations and departmental policies (HACCP, TJC, etc.)

    Qualifications

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Experience: Customer service experience in a team setting preferred
    • Skills:
    • Ability to follow instructions and perform basic math
    • Comfortable weighing and measuring ingredients
    • Strong attention to detail and communication skills

    Physical & Mental Requirements

    • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 30 lbs)
    • Ability to concentrate on tasks and remember multiple responsibilities
    • Exposure to temperature fluctuations and cleaning chemicals
