Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Full Service Restaurant General Manager to lead our team at Kansas City International Airport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and driving business growth in a fast-paced airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, train, and motivate restaurant staff to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation in compliance with health regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize operational efficiency.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with airport authorities and vendors to ensure compliance with airport policies and procedures.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure staffing levels meet operational needs, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management.
• Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety standards, and customer service best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment such as an airport location.
• Proficient in inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with airport regulations and security protocols is a plus.
