About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at SERVPRO of Douglasville/Carrollton/Troup-Coweta Counties as a Restoration Technician! In this exciting role, you will play a crucial part in helping families and businesses recover from disasters, ensuring properties are restored to their pre-loss condition with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform water extraction, mold remediation, and fire damage restoration.
- Inspect damaged properties and assess the extent of restoration needed.
- Utilize specialized equipment for drying, dehumidification, and cleaning.
- Document and report all restoration activities and progress to management.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and reassurance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in restoration preferred.
- Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
