    Position Overview:


    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Restoration Technician to join our team. The Restoration Technician is responsible for performing water, fire, and mold mitigation tasks, ensuring that properties are restored to their pre-loss condition. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in restoration, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Mitigation and Remediation:

      • Perform water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, and fire/smoke damage cleaning in residential and commercial properties.
      • Set up, monitor, and adjust drying and dehumidification equipment, ensuring optimal performance and drying conditions.
      • Conduct controlled demolition, including the removal of damaged drywall, flooring, and insulation, as necessary.
      • Clean and sanitize affected areas using specialized cleaning agents and tools.
    • Documentation and Reporting:

      • Accurately document all activities, including moisture readings, equipment usage, and project progress, using company software.
      • Capture before-and-after photos of affected areas, ensuring proper documentation for insurance purposes.
      • Report project status and issues to the Crew Supervisor or Project Manager in a timely manner.
    • Customer Service and Support:

      • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, explaining the restoration process and addressing any concerns or questions.
      • Provide updates to clients throughout the project, ensuring they are informed and satisfied with the work being performed.
      • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with clients during stressful situations.
    • Equipment Maintenance and Safety Compliance:

      • Maintain and clean all equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
      • Follow all safety guidelines and company protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
      • Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to management immediately.
    Qualifications:


    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Prior experience in water, fire, or mold restoration preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
    • IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD, FSRT) are a plus but not mandatory.
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
    • Ability to work in challenging environments, including those affected by fire, water, and mold damage.
    Skills and Attributes:


    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexible and able to work overtime or on-call shifts as needed.
