Job Position Description:
With a ‘One Team’ mentality, you will perform services as assigned while following PuroClean® production guidelines. Working to ensure all customer needs are met in a kind and sympathetic way, our project technicians assist their teams and supervisors with all aspects of restoration work on residential and commercial jobsites, as well as maintain vehicles, equipment, and assets of the business. Our technicians take pride in going above and beyond customer expectations in their times of need by providing a world class level of service which sets up apart from our competitors in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, demolition, fire restoration, mold remediation, and biohazard cleanup
- Set up, monitor, and remove drying and restoration equipment
- Perform moisture mapping and document job progress
- Remove affected drywall, carpet, flooring, insulation, and other materials as needed
- Assist with pack-outs and handling customer belongings
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with customers
- Maintain clean, organized jobsites, vehicles, equipment, and shop areas
- Follow company procedures and safety standards
- Participate in the after-hours/weekend on-call rotation
- Work closely with supervisors and other technicians to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GEDValid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving recordAbility to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physically demanding workComfortable working on ladders, in confined spaces, and in varying temperaturesStrong communication, customer service, and teamwork skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in stressful situationsRestoration experience preferred, but not requiredIICRC certifications, including WRT and/or ASD, preferred but not required
