ServiceMaster Restore is looking for a Restoration Project Manager – Mitigation who can take ownership of projects from the initial inspection through completion and collection.

This is not a desk-only project management position. You'll meet customers at their homes and businesses, inspect property damage, develop the scope of work, prepare estimates, sell the project, coordinate production, communicate with insurance professionals, monitor job performance, and make sure the project gets across the finish line.

We're looking for someone who combines sales ability, project management, customer service, and leadership.

    What You'll Do

As a Restoration Project Manager, you will:

    • Respond to new water, fire/smoke, mold, packout, and specialty-loss opportunities.
    • Meet property owners, inspect damage, determine the appropriate scope of work, and explain the restoration process.
    • Prepare accurate estimates and supporting documentation.
    • Sell projects and obtain signed contracts/authorizations.
    • Communicate with homeowners, business owners, insurance adjusters, agents, property managers, and other stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with supervisors, crew chiefs, technicians, subcontractors, and internal support staff.
    • Monitor project progress, documentation, schedules, costs, and profitability.
    • Review photos, moisture documentation, DocuSketch information, and job files for completeness.
    • Maintain accurate project information in Restore 365, Mitigate, DocuSketch, and other company systems.
    • Work with insurance carriers and program/TPA requirements when applicable.
    • Identify additional legitimate restoration services needed on the project and communicate those opportunities to the customer.
    • Maintain strong relationships with adjusters and other referral partners.
    • Help resolve project issues before they become customer problems.
    • Complete final documentation, billing requirements, and project closeout.
    • Assist with collection of outstanding balances and ensure projects are financially completed.
    • Participate in an emergency-response environment when required.
    Who We're Looking For

You don't have to fit one exact mold.

We're interested in people with backgrounds in property restoration, construction project management, insurance claims, roofing, remodeling, home services, property management, estimating, or consultative sales.

    The right person is:

    • Highly organized and able to manage multiple active projects.
    • Comfortable talking with customers during stressful situations.
    • Confident selling work without using high-pressure tactics.
    • Able to communicate effectively with insurance professionals.
    • Financially minded and understands that revenue, gross profit, collections, and customer service all matter.
    • Comfortable holding crews and vendors accountable.
    • Technologically capable and willing to learn our systems.
    • Able to make decisions and solve problems in the field.
    • Competitive, accountable, and motivated by results.
    • A strong communicator who follows through on commitments.
Restoration experience is valuable—but character, sales ability, leadership, and the ability to learn are just as important.
