SERVPRO of the St Croix Valley

We're looking for a dependable, driven Restoration Lead Technician who takes pride in their work, knows how to lead people, and understands what it takes to get a job done right. This isn't just a technician position with a different title. We're looking for someone who can lead from the front, take ownership of field operations, develop employees, and set the standard for quality and accountability.

At SERVPRO of the St Croix Valley, we believe great results start with great people. We want someone who understands that leadership isn't about having a title; it's about setting an example, helping others succeed, and taking responsibility for the work being done.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
As Restoration Lead Technician, you'll be the hands-on leader in the field, directing technicians and ensuring restoration work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company and industry standards.
    • Lead and direct daily field activities on water, fire, and mold mitigation projects.
    • Assign tasks, coordinate workloads, and keep technicians productive and focused.
    • Work alongside your crew and lead by example.
    • Ensure proper setup, demolition, cleaning, drying, and equipment placement.
    • Monitor job progress, quality of work, and safety practices.
    • Ensure accurate moisture readings, photographs, and field documentation are completed.
    • Communicate job progress, concerns, and changing conditions to the Project Manager.
    • Train, mentor, and develop technicians while maintaining accountability.
    • Maintain clean, organized job sites, vehicles, and equipment.
    • Identify field challenges and take initiative to find solutions.

Your focus is leading the field operation. The Project Manager will handle customer relationships, estimates, project coordination, and overall job management. Your responsibility is to make sure the crew executes the work properly and delivers the quality our customers expect.
    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
    • Previous restoration experience required.
    • Previous leadership, crew management, or supervisory experience is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of water mitigation and restoration practices.
    • Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and keep a crew moving.
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Someone who leads by example and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.
    • A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
    • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
    • IICRC certifications are preferred

THE KIND OF PERSON WHO THRIVES HERE
We're not just looking for someone who can tell others what to do. We're looking for someone who can bring out the best in the people around them.
    Someone who:
    • Takes ownership instead of making excuses.
    • Holds themselves and others to a high standard.
    • Understands that productivity and quality go hand in hand.
    • Communicates openly and keeps the team informed.
    • Looks for solutions instead of waiting for someone else to fix a problem.
    • Takes pride in developing people and building a dependable team.
We believe in asking, "How do we fix this?" rather than "Whose job is this?"
That's the kind of leadership we value.

    WHAT WE OFFER
    • Competitive compensation based on experience.
    • Paid time off.
    • Health insurance.
    • Dental and vision insurance.
    • 401(k) with profit sharing.
    • After-hours emergency response opportunities and bonuses.
    • Opportunities for professional development and advancement.

    MORE THAN JUST A JOB
This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role where your experience, work ethic, and ability to develop others will make a difference every day.
You'll have the opportunity to help shape a crew, establish expectations, improve field operations, and contribute to the continued growth of our company.
If you're someone who takes pride in leading by example, holding a team accountable, and getting the job done right, we want to hear from you.
