The AdvantaClean Field Technician provides mold remediation, air duct & dryer vent cleaning, HVAC coil cleaning, emergency water damage recovery, and installation of moisture control solutions in homes and buildings.



Typical Duties Include:
  • Learn & follow Industry and company standards for cleaning and restoration
    • Follow protocols/scope of work, and job documentation checklists for restoration and indoor air quality services

  • Clean and/or extract standing water from inside buildings (residential or commercial)
    • Set-up and monitor drying equipment

  • Safely remove mold from building interiors and crawlspaces
    • Set-up plastic containment for interior and crawlspace barriers
    • Proper use of chemicals and equipment for mold removal
    • Light demolition / removal of damaged drywall, framing, and other building materials, including post-project cleanup

  • Clean HVAC / Air Duct & Exhaust systems

  • Demonstrate safe work habits
    • Demonstrate proper, safe operation all equipment, including hand & power tools
    • Demonstrate safe lifting, and ladder climbing practices, chemical storage and use practices

  • Maintain clean and organized company vehicle, equipment, and storage facility

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years experience in restoration, home services or construction fields is a plus, but not required
  • Working knowledge of residential and / or commercial construction practices is a plus
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively in a Team environment or Alone
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Working knowledge of basic PC operations and Smart phone mobile for communication and work orders
  • Exhibit a professional, neat appearance
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment background check
Safety Gear Provided:
  • PPE
    • Gloves (leather, nitrile, or coated cloth depending on application)
    • Safety Glasses or Goggles
    • Respirators & suits as needed
