How You Will Succeed

Show Up Ready: Come Prepared, stay sharp, and start strong.

  • Cover Manager shifts and fill scheduling gaps as needed
  • Step into critical hourly roles to ensure smooth operations
  • Be proficient in all Front of House positions and their standards

Own What You See: Take Responsibility, jump in, and do what needs to be done.

  • Ensure all systems, methods, and procedures are executed consistently
  • Check in Team Members at the start of shifts, address readiness concerns, and alert the Manager when needed
  • Oversee Team Member check-outs, ensuring areas are clean and prepared for the next shift
  • Maintain a safe and organized environment for Guests and Team Members

Stay in Sync: Communicate often, move with your team, and keep service flowing.

  • Communicate effectively with the Management Team about shift needs and Guest feedback
  • Support FOH Team Members with training, coaching, and guidance on Steps of Service
  • Assist with scheduling adjustments and finding replacements for call-offs
  • Operate key systems (POS, OLO, OpenTable) with confidence

Make It Personal: Be genuine, listen well, and tailor each experience.

  • Engage with Guests to create memorable experiences
  • Handle Guest concerns promptly, following Cooper’s Hawk procedures
  • Support Team Members in inviting Guests into our Wine Club Community and promoting upgrades

Add a Touch: Go beyond the expected to create memorable moments.

  • Be a brand ambassador by promoting the value of our Wine Club
  • Share knowledge of our private event process and assist in execution when needed
  • Reinforce FOH sanitation standards and help resolve opportunities
  • Recognize and celebrate team wins during and after shifts

What You Will Need

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Area Director approval
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 9 months of employment with Cooper’s Hawk
  • All required local and Cooper’s Hawk certifications current
  • On-the-job training experience preferred

Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants

After four years of planning and construction, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. We would create a signature menu with a selection of dishes designed to pair perfectly with our own Cooper’s Hawk wines, made in our own private winery. With sophisticated food and exceptional wines, our concept was born.

The Cooper’s Hawk concept includes four distinct components: an upscale casual dining restaurant, full-service bar, private barrel-aging room, and Napa-style tasting room and retail gift store…all under one roof.
