Overview
Join a dynamic opening team in a historic renovated building with a unique concept! The Cambria Hotel Boston Logan Airport is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to lead daily front-of-house service execution across breakfast and dinner operations while creating a welcoming, efficient, and memorable dining experience.
Position Summary
The Restaurant Supervisor supports the daily operation of the hotel's food and beverage outlets, providing hands-on leadership to the front-of-house team. This position helps ensure consistent service standards, strong guest satisfaction, effective service flow, and close coordination with the culinary and hotel operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead front-of-house service during assigned breakfast and dinner shifts and maintain an active presence on the floor
· Train, coach, and support servers, hosts, bartenders, and other front-of-house team members
· Ensure guests receive friendly, attentive, and efficient service consistent with hotel and restaurant standards
· Manage service flow, table coverage, seating coordination, and shift priorities based on business levels
· Handle guest questions, concerns, and service recovery professionally and proactively
· Conduct pre-shift communication and ensure team members understand daily specials, menu changes, events, and operational priorities
· Monitor dining room, bar, and service areas for cleanliness, organization, presentation, and readiness
· Support opening and closing procedures, cash handling, check settlement, and required shift documentation
· Coordinate closely with Kitchen, Front Desk, Engineering, and hotel leadership to support a seamless guest experience
· Assist with inventory awareness, supplies, side work, and proper storage and organization of operating materials
· Promote responsible alcohol service and ensure applicable hotel policies and service procedures are followed
· Maintain compliance with Cambria/Choice Hotels standards and all property policies and procedures
Qualifications
· 2+ years of restaurant or hospitality leadership experience preferred
· Strong service mindset with the ability to lead by example
· Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to coach team members and maintain standards in a fast-paced environment
· Knowledge of restaurant POS systems, cash handling, and basic food and beverage operations preferred
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Compensation
$22–$26/hour
