Joe Louis Southern Kitchen is seeking an experienced, energetic Shift Manager to help lead daily restaurant operations while delivering outstanding guest experiences. As a key member of our leadership team, you ll oversee front-of-house operations, support the kitchen, coach team members, and ensure every shift reflects the hospitality and operational excellence our brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities

Lead restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
Ensure exceptional guest service and food quality.
Supervise, coach, and motivate front-of-house team members.
Conduct pre-shift meetings and assign daily responsibilities.
Monitor labor, ticket times, and overall shift performance.
Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
Approve discounts, comps, and voids according to company policy.
Perform opening and closing manager duties, including cash handling and daily reports.
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and company operating standards.
Communicate operational issues and opportunities to the General Manager.
Assist with employee training and development.

Qualifications

Required

Minimum 2 years of restaurant leadership experience in a full-service restaurant.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Excellent guest service and conflict-resolution abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
