Old Ebbitt Grill is DC's highest-grossing restaurant — a landmark operation doing serious volume with upscale dining standards. We're looking for an experienced, hospitality-first Restaurant Manager who has thrived in that environment and is ready to grow with one of the most respected independent restaurant groups in the country.
If you've been managing in a high-volume upscale or fine-casual concept and want the autonomy, culture, and long-term stability, we invite you to apply.
WHY JOIN THE CLYDE'S TEAM AS RESTAURANT MANAGER
100% company-funded pension — we contribute on your behalf, no match required (vests after 1 year)
401 (k) plan starting on day one
Quarterly Bonus Potential
Health coverage — medical, dental, vision, life, disability, virtual doctor visits, and wellness support
Generous PTO — vacation & sick pay, up to 8 weeks medical/family leave, plus leave for jury duty, voting, and school activities
Best-in-class training program + growth opportunities
Employee assistance — legal, financial, emotional, and work/life balance support
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A RESTAURANT MANAGER
2+ years of management experience in upscale or high-volume full-service dining — fine casual, polished casual, or fine dining
Strong floor presence and proven ability to run a shift at volume without sacrificing service standards
A coaching mindset: holds the team accountable while developing people at every level
Great verbal and written communicator
Experience with scheduling, labor management, P&L basics, and FOH systems (HotSchedules, Toast, or similar)
WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A RESTAURANT MANAGER
Run the floor during service — guest interaction, check flow, and real-time problem-solving
Interview, hire, train, schedule, and develop FOH staff
Set shift-specific service goals and hold the team to them
Lead pre-shift menu class and daily line-up
Write and manage weekly FOH schedules
Facilitate departmental and weekly manager meetings
