About the Role

The Director is a senior leader at Chick-fil-A Soper Hill, reporting to the Operations Lead, who leads either our Front of House or Back of House team (or both) as a Supervisor and Team Leader coach. You will own operational excellence, guest experience and food safety for your area, and develop the leaders around you. We are looking for a servant leader who develops people, protects our standards, and delivers Second Mile Service with a joyful spirit.

Position Type:

Full-time, 40 hours per week, across all day parts. Our restaurant is closed on Sundays.

Compensation:

$27.00-$32.00 per hour, plus a performance bonus of up to $1,000 per month, based on food safety, guest experience, labor productivity and food cost results. This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position.

Director Responsibilities:

• Champion long-term operational excellence across all day parts
• Uphold Chick-fil-A brand systems and standards, including food safety, quality and audits
• Own the guest experience: hospitality, speed, accuracy and "My Pleasure" service, and, in the kitchen, food quality, consistency and production
• Develop and coach Supervisors and Team Leaders and build our leadership pipeline
• Manage labor, food cost, inventory, cash handling and safety compliance with financial integrity
• Manage vendors, equipment and assets and report maintenance needs
• Track and drive key business metrics, including guest satisfaction, speed of service, labor productivity and food cost
• Build and manage the team schedule with the Operations Lead
• Model our Mission, Core Values and Second Mile Service every day
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A servant leader's heart and strong character, aligned with our Core Values: Integrity, Humility, Discipline, Hard Work and Joyful Spirit
• Prior restaurant leadership experience (shift leader, supervisor or manager) preferred.
• Ability to coach, develop and hold Supervisors and Team Leaders accountable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound judgment with budgets, labor and cost control
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• Willingness and ability to work a full-time schedule across all day parts
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift and carry 10-40 lbs on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to use technology to analysis business results and run operations.
