Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hands-on Pizzeria/ Restaurant Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for the restaurant’s operational performance and financial well-being. You will hire, train, and lead staff, ensuring they reflect the restaurant’s high standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing a successful pizzeria.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop short and long-term goals and KPIs for the restaurant
- Maintain acceptable food cost & payroll percentages
- Hire, train, and manage employees and conduct periodic performance reviews
- Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
- Create and maintain a food and beverage budget within our guidelines
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
- Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management
- Develop and coordinate marketing efforts and community events
- Track food and supply stock, place food orders, and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years of pizzeria or restaurant management experience
- Catering Experience: Proven history managing off-site or high-volume tray catering
- Culinary Skills: Ability to make pizza and cook a full Italian-American menu
- Schedule: Availability to work nights, weekends & holidays
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and POS software
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
