We are seeking a Restaurant Manager for a growing, well-established fast casual brand in Connecticut. This is a salaried, whole-restaurant leadership role under the General Manager: you own scheduling, staffing, training, facilities and the guest experience across dine-in, takeout, digital and delivery. It is built for a manager who wants to be developed into a General Manager.
What You'll Do
- Lead the restaurant alongside the General Manager and run it in their absence
- Hire, coach, develop and promote shift leaders and team members; build a bench the restaurant can promote from
- Own the numbers: labor, inventory, waste and sales, with clear targets every period
- Hold the standard on food safety, sanitation and cleanliness every shift
- Run a multi-channel operation: dine-in, takeout, digital ordering and delivery
- Model friendly, fast, accurate service and coach the team on guest recovery
- Roll out new menu items, systems and company initiatives consistently and on time
What We're Looking For
- Salaried restaurant management experience with full-unit accountability (not shift-only, not front-of-house only, not back-of-house only)
- Specific examples of hiring, coaching, promoting and retaining people
- Fast casual or casual dining background preferred, with strong guest service and financial accountability
- Food safety and sanitation discipline
- Humble, friendly, a clear communicator who takes feedback well
- Credible ambition and the track record to become a General Manager
- Lives within commuting distance of the restaurant
