About the Role

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for keeping the restaurant organized, staffed, prepared, and running consistently from day to day.

Percy is an 80-seat restaurant with a particularly strong brunch business, serving approximately 250 covers and turning the dining room up to three times during Saturday and Sunday brunch. Dinner service operates at a lower volume, so this role requires someone who can adjust their management approach to different service periods.

You will oversee approximately 15-20 employees and work directly with ownership to maintain service standards, develop the team, and keep restaurant operations on track.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Train, motivate, and hold employees accountable
  • Build schedules around business needs
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

  • Communicate clearly with FOH and BOH employees
  • Stay visible and engaged during service
  • Recognize problems early and address them before they affect the guest experience

Responsibilities

  • Complete recurring management and administrative responsibilities accurately and consistently

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of restaurant management experience preferred
  • High-volume restaurant experience
  • Team management experience
  • Experience with ordering, receiving, and inventory
  • Experience training and motivating restaurant employees
  • Scheduling experience
  • Working knowledge of food safety standards
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on restaurant environment
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work in a standing position for extended periods
  • English language proficiency
