Position Summary: As a Restaurant Greeter at Rivers Casino, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospitality services. Your main responsibilities include greeting and welcoming guests, escorting guests to tables, and upholding a high standard of guest service. You will be an essential part of our team, ensuring that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests to the restaurant venue.
- Escort guests to tables, providing information about the venue and menu options.
- Ensure a clean and organized environment by overseeing cleanliness and completing closing duties.
- Promote the casino through a positive attitude and excellent service, contributing to a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of job-related procedures, including menu items and prices.
- Assist in seating guests and support servers and bussers when needed.
- Address any guest complaints or issues courteously and promptly.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and immediately reporting any incidents to the supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with team members.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.
- Proficiency in using cash registers, calculators, and credit card machines.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, reaching and bending
