THE ROLE

Are you an inspiring hospitality leader who thrives on developing exceptional teams, creating unforgettable guest experiences, and driving business results?

We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager - Colletta & Resort Restaurant Operations to lead Colletta, the award-winning Italian restaurant located inside The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa.

As General Manager, you will lead one of the Vail Valley's premier dining destinations while serving as a key member of the resort's Food & Beverage leadership team. Working alongside the Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, and hotel leadership, you'll help shape exceptional dining experiences for thousands of guests each year while contributing to the overall success of one of Colorado's premier luxury mountain resorts.

What we will ask of you:

  • Lead with Passion: Bring your unwavering passion for restaurant, F&B and hospitality to the forefront. Be a part of the volunteer and charity initiatives we support and contribute to the betterment of the community we serve.
  • Nurture Your Team: Foster staff development and create a positive atmosphere that not only motivates our team but also ensures we meet our P&L goals.
  • Enrich Your Community: Engage with local vendors, business and farms to source quality products while also educating junior team members and advocating for their growth and development. Additionally, actively participate in and support our community's volunteer efforts and charitable initiatives to make a positive impact.
  • Be the Solution: Oversee all facets of the restaurant, resolving any challenges that arise by maintaining effective communication with team-members and the community.

Requirements for Success:

  • Lead all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and a culture of hospitality.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous development by coaching managers and leading a highly engaged team.
  • Oversee daily operations by partnering with culinary and resort leadership to deliver outstanding food quality, service, safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  • Drive guest satisfaction by maintaining an active presence, resolving concerns, building lasting guest relationships, and using feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve the dining experience.
  • Own the restaurant's financial success by managing budgets, forecasting, labor, inventory, cost controls, and key business performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with resort departments to support events, marketing initiatives, and seamless operations across the property.

Benefits:

In addition to onsite parking, our benefits package is designed to enhance your overall experience and well-being. Enjoy Marriott Hotel Discounts Worldwide, a Winter Incentive Program for full-time employees, and generous Paid Time Off year-round. Choose from three Health Insurance plans, along with Dental, Vision, & Accident Insurance, and Life Insurance, all available for full-time staff. We offer a 401(K) Plan with a discretionary employer match. Our commitment to your growth includes Career Development Trainings and Discounted Gym Memberships at The Athletic Club Westin. You'll also benefit from Discounts at Eye Pieces, Corporate Discounts through Perk Spot, a Sabbatical Program, and a $500 Referral Program.
