The Restaurant Floor Manager plays a critical role in overseeing daily operations at a single restaurant location. This position ensures excellent customer service, efficient staff management, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Floor Manager coordinates team activities to maintain smooth operational flow without requiring any travel.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support restaurant staff during shifts
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
- Create and manage employee schedules to optimize coverage
- Monitor and control inventory levels accurately
- Handle conflict resolution among staff or customers promptly
- Provide training and guidance to new and existing employees
- Ensure quality control for food, service, and cleanliness
- Maintain compliance with safety and health regulations
- Oversee cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Prepare and submit operational reports to General Manager
- Collaborate with team members to promote a positive work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in restaurant management
- High school diploma or equivalent
