We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined professional with experience in restaurant equipment repair, refrigeration service, appliance troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. This field-based position is ideal for a technician who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and delivering exceptional customer service.As a member of our service team, you will help restaurants, institutions, and foodservice operations minimize downtime by maintaining and repairing essential commercial kitchen equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will inspect, diagnose, service, and repair a variety of commercial foodservice and refrigeration equipment, including:Commercial ovens, ranges, grills, and broilersFryers, steamers, and pressure cookersCommercial dishwashing systemsRefrigeration equipment, walk-in coolers, and walk-in freezersGas and electric cooking equipmentHot-side and cold-side restaurant equipmentAdditional responsibilities include:Performing preventive maintenance and scheduled service inspectionsInstalling and commissioning new equipmentTroubleshooting electrical, gas, mechanical, and refrigeration systemsReading wiring diagrams, service manuals, schematics, and technical documentationTesting equipment to verify safe and efficient operationIdentifying required replacement parts and coordinating ordersMaintaining accurate service reports, work orders, and maintenance recordsCommunicating repair recommendations, timelines, and equipment status with customersFollowing safety procedures and company service standardsTravel RequirementsThis position is primarily a field service technician role with travel throughout Montana. Candidates should be comfortable driving to customer locations and may occasionally be required to stay overnight for service calls outside the local area.Work EnvironmentTechnicians regularly work in commercial kitchens, restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and other foodservice environments.
