Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Area Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving operational excellence in the restaurant industry. This role reports directly to the Director of Operations of the company and will provide leadership to the General Managers. The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple locations within the Austin and Sanatonio areas. This role requires frequent travel.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of multiple locations within the assigned areas.
- Collaborate with General Managers and their teams to ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Travel to different store locations to ensure operations are running smoothly.
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the assigned areas.
- Work closely with the Director of Operations to develop and execute regional business strategies.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Recruit, train, and mentor General Managers and operational staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Address customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
- Implement training programs to enhance employees' skills and knowledge.
- Analyze financial reports and budgets to identify areas for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Ensure all locations adhere to financial procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure all locations comply with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
- Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols to protect employees and customers.
- Maintain and elevate our high standards of quality and customer service across all locations.
- Attend conferences related to the restaurant industry as requested by Director of Operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- preferred.
- Proven experience as a District or Operations Manager with a minimum of 5 years in
- managerial or leadership capacity (restaurant industry preferred).
- Must have experience managing multiple restaurants with frequent travel required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel within the Austin and Sanatonio areas as required.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and executive management.
- Must have experience of responding to customer escalations and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
