Description
Are you someone who likes to stay active, thrives as part of a team, and takes pride in doing a job well? Chick-fil-A Ashland is looking for reliable Kitchen Team Members to join our daytime shifts. Whether you're seeking full-time hours, steady part-time work, or a shorter lunch-only shift, we have a schedule that could work for you.
No prior kitchen experience? No problem. We offer paid training and will walk you through Chick-fil-A's standards for food quality and safety.
Schedule Options:
- Full-time daytime availability
- Part-time daytime availability
- Lunch-shift only
- Shifts available on weekdays and Saturdays
- Schedules are flexible and built around both restaurant needs and your availability
- Saturday availability is generally required; Wednesday availability is strongly preferred; we are closed on Sundays
Your Role in the Kitchen:
- Prepare and put together Chick-fil-A menu items
- Follow our standards for food safety, quality, and portion control
- Keep pace during high-traffic meal periods
- Keep your station clean, stocked, and well-organized
- Coordinate with teammates to keep the line moving
- Help with food prep, dishwashing, cleaning, and restocking
- Balance speed and accuracy without sacrificing quality
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum age of 16
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain standing for up to 8 hours
- A dependable, consistent attendance record
- A humble, positive, team-oriented mindset
- Openness to coaching and eagerness to learn
- Dependable transportation to get to work
- Availability on Saturdays, with limited exceptions
- Strong work ethic paired with attention to detail
- Ability to stay organized while moving quickly
- Ease working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
