You will oversee multiple projects simultaneously and work closely with contractors, vendors, clients, and field teams to keep each project moving from planning through successful completion.

Restaurant and/or retail construction experience is required. Candidates whose experience is primarily outside these sectors may not be a fit for this position.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Manage multiple restaurant and retail construction projects from planning through completion

    • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, project timelines, budgets, and resource plans
    • Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and other project stakeholders
    • Monitor project progress and proactively identify scheduling conflicts, delays, cost concerns, and other risks
    • Conduct site visits to verify progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements
    • Review construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documents to support accurate field execution
    • Lead regular project meetings and maintain clear communication among project stakeholders
    • Monitor project expenses and help ensure work remains within established budgets
    • Maintain project documentation and progress reporting using construction management software
    • Work with construction teams to resolve field issues and keep projects on schedule
    • Confirm projects are completed in accordance with applicable building codes, regulations, safety requirements, and quality standards
    • Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and project partners

    What We're Looking For

Qualified candidates should have proven construction project management experience with a demonstrated background in restaurant and/or retail construction.

    Strong candidates will bring:

    • Experience managing restaurant or retail ground-up construction and/or tenant build-out projects
    • Experience with remodels, including projects performed in active or operating environments
    • Demonstrated ability to manage several construction projects simultaneously
    • Strong construction scheduling, budgeting, coordination, and project-planning skills
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, plans, and specifications
    • Experience coordinating general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
    • Working knowledge of construction site safety and quality-control practices
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address project risks before they create significant delays
    • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
    • Ability to work effectively with clients and a variety of internal and external project stakeholders

    Construction Software Experience

Experience with construction management and scheduling platforms is important for this role. Familiarity with the following is highly desirable:

    • Procore
    • Raken
    • Primavera

Comparable construction project management software experience may also be considered.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other relevant construction/project management certification
    • Experience overseeing projects from preconstruction and scheduling through turnover and closeout
    • Strong track record of delivering restaurant or retail projects on schedule while maintaining quality and budget expectations

    The Opportunity
