Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager

Location: Wallace, ID (Relocation Assistance)

Compensation: $60K Base

About the Restaurant:

A family-owned and operated full-service restaurant and wine bar is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to support daily operations and help lead the front-of-house team. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a high-touch hospitality environment, values consistency and teamwork, and is passionate about guest experience, food, and wine.


The ideal candidate brings strong operational knowledge, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to balance service excellence with business fundamentals.


Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience

  • Support and elevate the overall guest experience across dining and bar service.
  • Act as a visible floor presence, engaging with guests and ensuring consistent, attentive service.
  • Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism and care.
  • Uphold service standards that reflect the restaurant’s culture, values, and commitment to hospitality.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Assist in leading, training, and motivating front-of-house staff.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing staff development.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and help communicate daily priorities and service expectations.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

Operations & Financial Support

  • Assist with day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Support inventory management, ordering, and cost controls for food, beverage, and labor.
  • Help monitor sales performance and contribute to operational improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Work closely with ownership on operational needs and business goal
