ABOUT THE POSITION
The Responsible Master Plumber / Plumbing Department Manager will help build and grow AIO's Plumbing Department. This is not a desk-only management position. The successful candidate will perform hands-on plumbing work while helping develop the department's customer base, systems, and team.
The position includes heavy residential and light commercial plumbing work with homeowners, property management companies, and other customers. As the department grows, the Manager will take on greater leadership and management responsibility, including recruiting, hiring, training, and developing plumbers and apprentices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an experienced Master Plumber who wants to work alongside the team, not simply manage the team. The successful candidate must work independently, collaborate with ownership, communicate professionally, and take pride in quality workmanship and customer service.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Water heater and tankless water heater experience, drain and sewer experience, gas piping, hydronics, and backflow certification are valuable. HVAC knowledge or experience is a plus.
COMPENSATION & FINANCIAL GROWTH
Hourly Rate: $25.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, plus a 10-20% commission on eligible net upsell revenue, with the opportunity to significantly increase earnings as the Plumbing Department grows.

- Hold an active Colorado Master Plumber license and serve as AIO's Responsible Master Plumber.
- Perform plumbing service, repairs, installations, diagnostics, and estimates.
- Develop customer relationships and identify opportunities to grow the department's customer base and recurring service work.
- Establish plumbing pricing, estimating practices, service procedures, and quality standards.
- Ensure plumbing work meets applicable codes, safety requirements, and Company quality standards.
- Prepare estimates and professionally explain repair and replacement options to customers.
- Work closely with Company ownership to develop the systems and processes needed to build a successful plumbing division.
- Help identify staffing needs and participate in recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring plumbers and apprentices.
- Provide technical guidance and quality oversight to plumbing personnel.
- Take increasing responsibility for the day-to-day management and growth of the Plumbing Department.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Colorado Master Plumber license
- Strong hands-on plumbing experience
- Residential service and repair experience
- Experience with heavy residential plumbing and light commercial work
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and proper installation practices
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
