Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Evaluates patient outcomes and makes changes to the plan of care within the multidisciplinary team. Provides explanation and instructions to patients and/or responsible persons regarding respiratory disease processes, intervention procedures and discharge, and ensures understanding. Shares clinical knowledge with staff and students and serves as a role model for clinical practice. Plans, implements and evaluates the effectiveness of respiratory care. Provides respiratory care as ordered by the physician while communicating with medical and nursing staff.

Floating Requirements: Accepts reassignment to other units when necessary.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
