Job Description
Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Schedule:
- Evenings - 32 hours per week
- Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Every other weekend and holiday
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Must have an Ohio RCP license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association only
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory therapy services as prescribed by provider order.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care techniques and treatments.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of respiratory therapy services.
Compliance / Notes:
- Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.
- Must be able to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.
