RRT or RN (Call Center) — Murray, KY

Overview

Join our team in Murray, KY as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN)! In this role, you’ll provide phone-based clinical support and education to patients, caregivers, and field teams—helping ensure respiratory therapy equipment is used correctly, ensuring CPAP/BiPAP compliance, and supporting successful outcomes without ever visiting patient homes. Required Skills

  • Eligible credentials as an RN or RRT, allowed for this role
  • Maintain current licensure/certification as required by state law in the state(s) of practice
  • Strong communication skills in English (both oral and written)
  • Ability to counsel and re-educate non-compliant patients based on physician instructions
  • Ability to gather information from patients, caregivers, and field personnel and troubleshoot equipment issues based on provided details
  • Familiarity with (and ability to support) CPAP compliance processes, including:
    • Initiating patient enrollment into a CPAP Compliance Program
    • Reviewing compliance tracking systems
    • Monitoring progress according to patient-specific insurance guidelines and/or Rotech timeframes
  • Commitment to confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency with common office and communication tools:
    • EmailInternet navigation/researchMicrosoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
    • Office equipment (phone, fax machine, copier, printer) and computer/tablet usage
  • Ability to work the assigned schedule and on-call rotation
    • Mon–Fri, 8:00a–4:30p
    • On-call rotation: typically 1 week every 4–6 weeks (phone consultations during non-business hours)
  • Background investigation and drug screen as required by the role
  • Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable)

Nice to Have Skills

  • Completion of an accredited respiratory care/therapy program or related science (nursing or other paramedical training may be acceptable depending on state licensure laws)
  • Experience with home respiratory care
  • Experience maintaining continuing education (CEUs) as required by state law, with a baseline of at least 4 CEUs per year if not otherwise required

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Preferred: completion of an accredited program/degree in respiratory care/therapy or related science
  • Preferred: one year of related work experience
  • Maintain CEUs as required by state law (or at minimum 4 CEUs/year if not required)

Other Requirements

  • In-office work only—no patient homes
  • You will support clinical education and equipment setup, including:
    • Manually configuring CPAP and BiPAP devices according to physician prescriptions prior to shipment
    • Supporting new CPAP/BiPAP users with setup, troubleshooting, and therapy guidance
    • Conducting virtual mask fitting appointments to support proper fit and compliance
    • Providing on-call support for urgent equipment/therapy-related needs
  • Job shadowing opportunities are available to support training and development
  • On-call may require determining when a physical visit is needed and coordinating with appropriate personnel
  • Pay range: $26–$35/hr depending on related experience and license
  • Sign-on bonus (external candidates):
    • $2,000 gross after 60 days
    • $2,000 gross after 180 days of continuous employment
