What Youll Do
- Perform in-home respiratory assessments and clinical evaluations
- Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed respiratory therapies and equipment
- Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment (including oxygen therapy and NIV)
- Adjust ventilator/NIV settings per physician orders and clinical assessment
- Provide follow-up support and respond to patient needs during assigned on-call rotation
- Document visits and services accurately and on time
- Communicate clinical findings and patient needs to physicians and care team members
What You Need
Required- Active RRT, CRT, or RC credential and applicable state licensure
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently in the field and maintain accurate documentation
Preferred- HME or DME experience
- Home respiratory care experience
- Experience with NIV and advanced respiratory equipment
About the Assignment
This is a respiratory-focused, field-based home healthcare role supporting patients across the Greater New Orleans area. Youll work independently in patient homes, manage advanced respiratory equipment, and provide education and follow-up to help patients continue therapy safely outside the hospital environment. On-call rotation is every other week.
