Shift: Days 8:00AM–2:00PM PT (orientation); Days 7:00AM–7:30PM and Nights 7:00PM–7:30AM PT

Duration: 6 or 12 hours

Experience: 2 years of experience in the last 5 years (1+ year pediatric)

License: Active Oregon Respiratory Therapist license

Certifications: BLS, PALS

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients under physician orders, from admission through discharge
• Set up, monitor and troubleshoot ventilators, oxygen delivery and airway clearance equipment
• Perform patient assessments before and after therapy and respond to rapid responses/codes
• Accurately document treatments and communicate clinical updates to the care team

Requirements

• • Must have 2 years experience within the last 5 years (1+ year of pediatric experience)
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Active Oregon Respiratory Therapist license
  • NBRC credential (RRT preferred)
  • Active BLS and PALS Certification
  • Negative TB within last 12 months
  • Hep B Series or Titer
  • MMR Series or Titer
  • Tdap Vaccine within last 10 years or Titer
  • Varicella Series or Titer
