    Position: Respiratory Therapist - Geriatric

    Overview:

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team and provide care to our geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with elderly patients and a strong understanding of respiratory conditions and treatments. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, including weekend rotations, and a competitive salary range of $35.00 - $40.00 per hour.

    Responsibilities:

    - Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory health and develop treatment plans based on their specific needs and conditions

    - Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, such as oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and nebulizer treatments

    - Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

    - Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques

    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients

    - Document all patient care and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner

    - Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

    - Keep up-to-date with advancements in respiratory therapy and implement new techniques and treatments as appropriate

    Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field

    - Current state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist

    - Minimum of 2 years of experience working with geriatric patients

    - Strong understanding of respiratory conditions and treatments

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

    - Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including weekend rotations

    - Strong attention to detail and ability to document patient care accurately

    - Current CPR certification
