Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities : 

• Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.

• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and other respiratory care modalities.

• Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory support equipment.

• Perform patient assessments and document treatment plans and responses.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.

• Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Requirements : 

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience in the specialty.

• Current Georgia Respiratory Care License (RRT).

• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.

• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Additional Information : 

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible.

• Holiday coverage is required. Travelers must work 2 of the following major holidays:

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Christmas Day

  • New Year's Day

  In addition, travelers must work 1 of the following minor holidays:

  • Day after Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve

  • New Year's Eve
