• Pay Rate: $53.33 $57.33 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Nights, 3x12 Hours (19:00 7:30); Every Other Weekend Coverage

Job Summary

This is a Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics travel contract role (RRT-NICU specialty) at a hospital facility in Greenville, SC. The position serves patient populations across PEDs floors, PICU, ER, and NICU, and requires float capability across units and campuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory and neuro diagnostics care across PEDs floors, PICU, ER, and NICU patient age groups
• Float to other units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns, consistent with the facility's contracted staff floating policy
• Perform only tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented when floating
• Utilize the Pyxis and Omnicell medication systems
• Document patient care using EPIC (minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required)

Required Skills

• Experience in ER, Pediatric Critical Care, and PEDs work settings
• Proficiency with Pyxis and Omnicell medication systems
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC documentation system

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• PALS certification required
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) for SC license required
• RT License required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Float required across units and/or campuses per facility request
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Night shift: 3x12 Hours (19:00 7:30)
• Patient populations include PEDs floors, PICU, ER, and NICU
• Flu vaccination required no exemptions

Important Notes

• Floating Policy for Contracted Staff: The facility's goal is to keep staff in their home unit. However, it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff, regardless of unit or facility, must float to other units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns. Staff will only be floating to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented.
