Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $69.33 $73.33 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 3x12 hours; University campus: 7:00 7:30; Nashoba, Marlborough, and Memorial campuses: 6:45 7:15
• Float Requirements: Will float between 4 campuses; primary shift is expected to be at Nashoba at least 2 shifts/week
• Weekend Requirement: EOW/EOH
• Travel Requirements: Accepts first timers if they have the required experience
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) contract position floating between four campuses of a regional health system in Massachusetts. The primary location is Nashoba, a freestanding ER where the RRT will primarily work independently. The candidate will float to Marlborough, University (Worcester), and Memorial (Worcester) campuses with advanced notice. The distance between Nashoba and the University/Memorial campuses is approximately 45 minutes, with Marlborough situated in between.

Important Notes

• This position is only accepting start dates for the posted start time. Earlier start times will not be considered.
• All requirements posted below are firm for this position.
• Prior to submission, the following questions must be answered:

1. Do you have experience caring for pediatric trachs? If so, where? 2. Do you have prior Level I experience? If so, where? 3. Do you have prior adult critical care & pediatric experience?

• MA RRT license is required. Submissions without it will be accepted as long as the license is applied for within 24 hours of offer.

Required Experience

• 2 3 years of experience required
• Must have Adult Critical Care experience
• Must have Pediatric experience
• Must have experience with pediatric trachs
• Level I experience is required

Required Skills

• Ability to work independently as an RRT in a freestanding ER setting
• Ability to float between multiple campuses
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Education Requirements

• MA RRT license required (will allow submissions without it if applied for within 24 hours of offer)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NRP preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Primarily onsite at Nashoba campus (freestanding ER); will float to Marlborough, University, and Memorial campuses with advanced notice
• Primary shift at Nashoba is expected to be at least 2 shifts per week
• Distance between Nashoba and University/Memorial campuses is approximately 45 minutes; Marlborough is in between
• Weekend and holiday rotation required (EOW/EOH)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
