Respiratory DME Branch Operations Leader

Location: Eau Claire Area, WI

A day in this role

You start the morning with a quick huddle for a tight-knit crew of about 4–5 team members. Routes are assigned, on-call coverage is confirmed, and inventory levels are reviewed so every delivery lands on time. Midday, you might jump behind the wheel to deliver respiratory equipment to a patient or healthcare facility—taking a few extra minutes to explain safe use and care. In the afternoon, you check regulatory logs to ensure adherence to FDA, Board of Pharmacy, and DOT requirements, then connect with your Regional Operations Manager on coaching, performance, and continuous improvement. It’s hands-on leadership with a direct impact on patient quality of life.

What you’ll lead and do

  • Direct day-to-day branch operations and mentor a team of approximately 4–5 employees.
  • Step in to deliver respiratory equipment when needed and provide education on safe operation and care.
  • Plan schedules, manage on-call coverage, and optimize driving routes.
  • Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely pickup and return of equipment after use.
  • Maintain full compliance with FDA, Board of Pharmacy, DOT, and related regulations.
  • Partner with the Regional Operations Manager on performance evaluations, coaching, and staff development.
  • Model a culture of outstanding customer service, accountability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading or managing drivers, delivery teams, branch operations, logistics, or a comparable operation.
  • Willingness to assist with deliveries as needed.
  • Current state-issued driver’s license.
  • Class C CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
  • Ability to successfully complete a motor vehicle records check, drug test, and DOT physical
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Comfort balancing hands-on operational work with team leadership.
  • A genuine desire to serve customers and improve their quality of life.
