    Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner – Respiratory Therapy

    Job Summary:
    The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides respiratory therapy services to patients with a wide range of respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions. This role collaborates with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to assess patient needs, administer treatments, and support high-quality patient care. The practitioner is responsible for operating respiratory care equipment and ensuring safe, effective therapy delivery.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
    • Assess and monitor patient respiratory status and response to treatment
    • Operate and maintain ventilators, monitoring systems, and respiratory therapy equipment
    • Perform diagnostic procedures, oxygen therapy, and patient assessments
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
    • Educate patients and families on respiratory care treatments and equipment use
    • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
    • Ensure compliance with safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards

    Required Qualifications:

    • Education sufficient to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements
    • Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
    • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire

    Preferred Skills:

    • Strong understanding of respiratory therapy principles and procedures
    • Experience with ventilators and respiratory support equipment
    • Excellent communication and patient care skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
    • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
