The Respiratory Care Equipment Technician at MD Anderson Cancer Center supports the delivery of respiratory care services by ensuring respiratory equipment and supplies are properly cleaned, maintained, processed, and available for patient care. This role plays an essential part in supporting patient safety, infection prevention, and operational readiness across inpatient and outpatient care areas.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience working with medical equipment, inventory management, sterile processing, patient care support, or a related healthcare environment. The ideal candidate must be available to work a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 PM - 8:00 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays.
The Respiratory Care Department provides comprehensive respiratory therapy services throughout MD Anderson Cancer Center. The department supports patients across critical care, inpatient, and outpatient settings by delivering specialized respiratory treatments and maintaining the equipment necessary to support life-saving therapies and patient care.
Hourly breakdown of salary range:
Minimum $18.26 | Midpoint $22.84 | Maximum $27.40
