    What You'll Do:

    As an RCA, you'll work under the direct supervision of a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) and support our respiratory therapy team in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care. You'll gain hands-on experience while continuing your education in a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)-approved program.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Administering breathing treatments and supplemental oxygen therapy
    • Assisting with patient assessments and documentation
    • Operating and setting up respiratory equipment
    • Performing procedures such as aerosol therapy, MDI administration, incentive spirometry, airway clearance therapy, and chest physiotherapy with suctioning
    • Supporting arterial puncture and electrocardiograms (if applicable)
    • Recording patient data in our medical record system

    What You'll Need:

    • Enrollment in a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care Program
    • Current certifications in:
    • Respiratory Care Assistant - required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
    • A passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence
