    Division/Program:

    Merced Crisis Residential Unit (Merced CRU)

    Starting Compensation:

    18.88 - 26.00 USD Per Hour

    Working Location:

    Merced, CA

    Working Hours/Shift:

    Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00PM

    What you bring to SBHG:

    Education & Experience:

    • A High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED, HiSET) is required.
    • An associate degree in a social science field is preferred, combined with at least three (3) years of experience.
    • A bachelor's degree in a social science field is preferred, combined with at least one (1) year of experience.

    Experience must include providing support to individuals living with mental illness, working in a behavioral health setting, or performing non-professional healthcare or social services functions.

    How you will make a difference

    • The Resource Specialist has the primary responsibility for helping clients access housing and community resources by building relationships with local agencies and service providers. Coordinates outreach efforts, visits discharge locations, and assists clients with admission paperwork and consent forms. Facilitates resident and community meetings as needed and provides transportation to appointments to help clients connect with needed services and supports.

    Division/Program Overview:

    • Population Served (Capacity): Serving adults, ages 18-59
    • Facility & Setting: 24/7 inpatient voluntary program, 16-bed facility
    • Clinical Services (Core): Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services
    • Length of Stay: 30 day stay
    • Skills & Services: Pre-vocational or vocational counseling and medication evaluation and support services.
