Description
This full-time, 12-month, grant-funded position is responsible for providing academic and social support to ensure student success (retention and persistence to graduation). The Coordinator serves as a central connector across multiple divisions and departments, focused on early and ongoing intervention for students experiencing barriers to success.
A primary focus is a cohort group of 60+ Pell-eligible students pursuing degrees in the "helping professions" (teacher certification, educational studies, nursing, public health, health science) and receiving financial assistance through the Cabrini Grant and Pell.

Typical Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required. Demonstrated past experience working with student populations is expected; experience in a college or university setting highly preferred.
Years of Experience:
This is an entry-level position. 1-2 years of experience desired in student leadership, mentorship, advising, or tutoring. Experience gained while enrolled in college is eligible.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in a standard office environment. Occasional nights and weekends required.
