Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the annual resource allocation strategies process to support enterprise growth and profitability
• Engagement with the LMC Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and BAs to ensure alignment between the Enterprise strategy and NBF allocations
• Partnering on strategic decisions on how the plan should be developed and presented to the ELT
• Collaborate on financial analysis and modeling to inform and report on resource allocation decisions
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including BA leadership, finance, and GBD&S teams
• Provide strategic guidance to business areas on resource allocation and investment decisions
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement resource allocation plans and strategies
• Communicate resource allocation strategies and plans to senior leaders and stakeholders

The Senior Manager, Resource Allocation Strategy will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with senior leaders across the BAs and cross-functional teams. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive results across multiple BA and Enterprise stakeholders. The successful candidate will be willing to work flexible hours and travel as needed, nominally 25-35%.

Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to fill the role of Principal, Resource Allocation Strategy. This position will be responsible for partnering to develop, implement, and assist in the management of the resource allocation process ensuring alignment to strategic growth objectives, conducting business case assessments, and reporting / monitoring against key business outcomes, and performing portfolio analysis. The focus of this process will be the common enterprise disclosure environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and strategy, with a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, strategy, or business development Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
• Strong leadership and executive communication skills, with the ability to drive results and build consensus across multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Excellent financial and business acumen, with demonstrated expertise in understanding strategic vision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to construct, gather, and analyze complex data sets and develop actionable recommendations

Desired Skills

• Experience in developing and implementing resource allocation strategies in a complex organization
• Proficiency of strategic business case development and alternate business model development
• Experience in business area resourcing process development and decision-making
• Knowledge of key technologies investment impacting the aerospace and defense industry
• Understanding of international strategy development and experience working in a global business environment, with a knowledge of international markets and trends

Pay Information

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $198400.00 - $368400.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $178500.00 - $331500.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $158700.00 - $294700.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $142800.00 - $265200.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.
