About the Role:Guiding Lights LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Supports Specialist to join our team in Hopewell, VA! Responsibilities:- Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals in a residential setting
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Implement individualized support plans and document progress accurately
- Promote independence, dignity, and community inclusion for all residents
- Administer medications and monitor health needs as directed
- Respond to behavioral and emotional needs using approved support strategies
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members
Requirements:- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in residential care, direct support, or human services preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a person-centered approach
