About the RoleWe’re hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate, hands-on care to individuals in our residential programs in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. As a DSP, you’ll empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently and thrive within their communities. This is a direct care role that requires reliability, empathy, and a heart for service.
Responsibilities
Provide daily care and supervision in a residential setting
Support individuals in achieving independence with daily tasks and routines
Encourage participation in social and community activities
Monitor health, safety, and well-being of individuals
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations and agency policies
Assist with training and onboarding of new team members
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and report concerns to the Program Specialist
Required Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in direct care or behavioral health services
Familiarity with I/DD populations and residential care settings
