Job Purpose:

• The Residential Specialist - Shift 3 at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing comprehensive support and supervision to residents during the assigned shift. This role is pivotal in ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured environment that promotes the well-being and personal development of individuals within the residential program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor residents to ensure safety and adherence to program rules and guidelines.
• Facilitate and support daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and recreational activities.
• Implement individualized care plans and document residents' progress and any incidents during the shift.
• Collaborate with other staff members to provide consistent and comprehensive care.
• Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to residential care.
• Foster a positive and therapeutic environment that encourages resident engagement and participation.
