As a Journeyman with residential experience, you’ll diagnose problems, deliver precise repairs, and complete clean, code-compliant installations—getting it right the first time for homeowners who count on you.
What your day looks like
- Arrive prepared, review the work order, and consult with the homeowner to understand symptoms and concerns.
- Systematically troubleshoot panels, wiring, and residential electrical systems to identify the root cause.
- Install or upgrade outlets, fixtures, and service panels, along with related equipment and components.
- Verify every task meets electrical code and company safety standards before wrapping up.
- Explain findings, options, and recommendations in plain language so homeowners feel confident in the solution.
What makes you a great fit
- Journeyman Electrician license in MD or VA
- 2+ years of hands-on residential electrical experience
- Proven troubleshooting ability and a customer-first communication style
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
