Elemental Electric is growing its residential service division, and we are looking for service electricians who want more than a dispatch board. You will be the face of Elemental in customers’ homes: diagnosing problems, recommending the right solution, fixing it the same day when you can, and building relationships that turn first-time callers into customers for life.

Position Summary

The Residential Service Electrician is the first point of response for residential service calls. You will assess issues on-site, present clear options and accurate estimates, complete repairs and installations, and help grow the division through memberships, reviews, and referrals. Residential service demand is highest on evenings and weekends, so your schedule is built around those days.

Key Responsibilities

Service & Repair

• Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls promptly and professionally
• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical problems
• Complete repairs and installations on the spot when feasible: panels, circuits, devices, lighting, surge protection, EV chargers, and generators
• Ensure all work complies with the NEC and state and local codes

Customer Experience

• Explain issues in plain terms and present good, better, best options with accurate pricing
• Manage each customer start to finish in Podium: scheduling, updates, documenting work and approvals, and collecting payment on site
• Follow up with customers and resolve concerns professionally
• Earn five-star reviews and repeat business

Growth

• Enroll customers in membership and maintenance programs
• Identify additional service and upgrade opportunities on every call
• Generate referrals from homeowners, property managers, realtors, and community contacts
• Help train future service team members as the division grows

Qualifications

Required

• Active Colorado Residential Wireman License (Journeyman preferred)
• 3+ years of residential electrical experience, with at least 2 years in customer-facing service work
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple calls, prioritize, and work independently
• Availability for weekend service days
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred

• Podium or similar scheduling, service, and payments software experience
• Residential sales or membership program experience
• Existing customer or referral relationships in the Denver Metro area

• Hourly pay of $30.00–$38.00, paid weekly
