What You'll Do
- Perform residential electrical service calls, repairs, replacements, and installations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems safely and efficiently.
- Inspect electrical components, wiring, panels, outlets, switches, and fixtures.
- Ensure work meets applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Educate homeowners on electrical concerns and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Present service options and pricing clearly to help customers make informed decisions.
- Complete service invoices, document work, and process payments using company technology.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Collaborate with leadership to help develop and strengthen our electrical service department.
- Represent Cooper's with integrity, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Experience in residential electrical service, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, and safety standards.
- Ability to diagnose problems and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile technology, and service management software.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and professional growth.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred; experienced apprentices are encouraged to apply.
