Our growing electrical department
Apollo is building out its electrical department, and our service electricians help shape how it grows. This is a true service role: you'll spend your day diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential electrical systems.
A big part of every call is educating the homeowner. You'll explain what you found, walk them through their options, and recommend long-term solutions that keep their home safe and reliable. That does lead to larger repairs and upgrades, but this is not a high-pressure sales or upselling job. When our electricians recommend something, it's because it's the right fix for the customer, and they take the time to help the customer understand why.

You are a skilled residential electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and helping homeowners understand their electrical systems. You take pride in your work, communicate well with customers, and can work independently while being part of a team.
You understand that being a great electrician isn't just about completing the technical work. It's also about giving the customer honest information and leaving them confident that their home and electrical system are in good hands.
JOB DUTIES:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems.
Complete electrical service calls and identify the cause of electrical issues.
Perform residential electrical repairs and upgrades, including panels, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, and other electrical components.
Educate homeowners on the condition of their electrical system and recommend long-term solutions that improve safety, reliability, and functionality, without pressure or upselling.
Clearly explain findings, options, and pricing so homeowners can make an informed decision.
Provide professional customer service from arrival through completion of the job.
Complete work accurately and according to applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and leave the customer's home as clean or cleaner than when you arrived.
Accurately document work performed, materials used, and customer recommendations.
Communicate with the office and other team members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
Help build and improve processes as the electrical department grows.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle in good working condition.
Continue developing electrical knowledge and skills through company training and hands-on experience.
Requirements & Skills Needed:
Oregon Journeyman Electrician (J) license required. Qualified Washington 01 or 02 electricians are encouraged to apply and may be considered based on experience and licensing requirements.
Residential electrical service experience preferred.
Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Comfortable presenting options and pricing to homeowners and recommending the right long-term solution.
Professional appearance and attitude when working in customers' homes.
Ability to explain electrical issues and solutions in a way homeowners can understand.
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Comfortable using mobile technology to document work and communicate with the office.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass a background check.
