What You'll Do

As a Residential Service Electrician, you'll independently manage electrical service calls, solve technical problems, and deliver an exceptional experience for homeowners.

Your responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical systems, circuits, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, and panels.
• Identify electrical safety concerns, system deficiencies, and opportunities for repairs or improvements.
• Perform electrical repairs, installations, replacements, and upgrades in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards.
• Evaluate electrical systems and recommend appropriate repair, replacement, and upgrade options.
• Clearly explain technical findings and available solutions to homeowners.
• Present pricing and options professionally, helping customers make informed decisions.
• Generate service revenue through appropriate recommendations, approved work, and quality installations.
• Complete work accurately, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
• Document service findings, recommendations, materials, and completed work.
• Maintain professional workmanship, a clean work environment, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with dispatch, field leadership, and other team members.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for experienced electricians who combine technical ability with accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to doing the job right.

 

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of electrical service, maintenance, repair, or installation experience.
• Strong residential electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and applicable safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage residential service calls.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to explain technical problems and solutions clearly to homeowners.
• Willingness to present repair and replacement options and participate in a performance-based compensation structure.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Residential service experience involving direct homeowner interaction.
• Experience diagnosing electrical panels, circuits, grounding, bonding, and related electrical systems.
• Experience with panel upgrades, surge protection, generators, EV chargers, and other residential electrical improvements.
• Familiarity with digital service documentation and field service technology.

Annual earning opportunity: $120,000+
