A day in this role
You start the morning in your company vehicle, routes and jobs loaded on an industry-leading app. First stop: a refrigerator that won’t cool. You diagnose, source the part from your mobile, and restore a kitchen to working order. Next, a dryer that won’t tumble and a dishwasher flashing error codes—each visit a new puzzle to solve, each fix a homeowner’s relief. Throughout the day you keep your truck organized, communicate clearly with customers, and deliver the kind of service that makes you the hero of the home.
What you’ll work on
- In-home diagnosis and repair of major appliances: refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves
- Consistently delivering an excellent customer experience
- Offering value-added solutions that keep homes clean, comfortable, and protected
- Maintaining a well-organized service vehicle and managing parts efficiently
- Performing other duties as assigned
Compensation and benefits
- Hourly base rate: $21 - $30, depending on experience, certification, and location

What you bring
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification
- Strong mechanical aptitude; comfortable using test and repair tools
- Experience diagnosing and repairing home appliances (preferred)
- Ability to follow directions and processes to ensure quality workmanship
- Comfort using a smartphone for part ordering and job documentation
- Successfully pass a background & drug screen
- Valid driver’s license for the state(s) where you work
- Ability to travel up to 100%; Road Warrior (75% or more)
- Flexible schedule with variable hours and required overtime as needed
- Ability to read, understand, and apply technical documentation
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; ability to read, write, and speak English
- Physical ability to constantly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 lbs; frequently up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs
- Ability to constantly reach outward, handle/finger objects, stand, walk, sit, and type
- Ability to frequently bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, stoop, climb, and crawl
- Occasional reaching above shoulder
- Ability to drive an automatic transmission vehicle
